A compact and stylish mid-century writing desk made of solid elm set on tapered beechwood legs. Designed by Lucian Ercolani and made by Ercol in High Wycombe in the 1950s. Manufactured to the highest standards using traditional methods: the exposed intricate dovetail joints are a particular feature of the side panels along with the distinctively grained elm.It consists of Ercol drawer fitment no. 439 sitting on top of desk no. 437.
