Stunning and iconic ''Pipistrello'' floor or table lamp model 620, Original Rare 1970’s piece.
The lamp was designed around 1965 by Italian female artist Gae Aulenti who for this particular design took her inspiration from the appearance of a bat's shape and wings. It has a telescopic stem made of stainless steel. The height can be adjusted and set anywhere from 66cm to 85 cm and can be used as a table or floor lamp. Condition is really good regarding its age. It has one superficial little dent in the cream coloured base. Shipped with E14 Led bulbs.
This piece has makers mark to underside.
Overall patination indicative with originality and age.
