Fantastic example of a navigators light designed for theAir Ministry. c.1940 Origin of the lamp is unknown but very likely designed for military airbourne use due to the weight and space restrictions; possibly used in the Dakota aircraft's cockpit. Very well engineered and mounted to heavy period base. Bulb included.
