Singer Industrial Sewing Machine Shop Task Lamps circa 1940's
The lamp has jointed arms that angle to a wide variety of positions and can be raised and lowered from the heavy cast iron table base with extending support rod.Manufactured of high carbon steel, cast iron and extremely well engineered.
During the mid-nineteenth century, the Singer Company became world-famous with its
invention, the sewing machine. In 1910, the company launched a range of professional
furniture for the textile industry
The lamps general dimensions are 40cm tall in the shown position (can raise an added 3" via the main telescoping support rod) with a 25cm crossarm, the shade is 7.6cm diameter…a new led bulb included.
As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked/fitted if needed by a qualified electricianbefore installation.
All lamps for use in the UK are PAT tested prior to dispatch.
