A truly amazing example of Danish engineering and multi-functional style. Designed by Kai Kristiansen, this stylish Elevator or Metamorphic table is designed with an adjustable height feature and two extension leaves. The table easily converts from a standard-sized coffee table to a dining table that comfortably seats four to six people when fully extended. The table transforms by simply raising and securing each end of the table, and sliding the two full-length hidden leaves from beneath the tabletop. Overall, in excellent vintage condition with beautifully aged, patinated teak with gorgeous wood grain, and very minor signs of wear (light surface scuffs and scratches). Manufactured by Trioh Møbler of Denmark circa 1960s, Trioh marks to the underside.
Fantastic space saving design, lovely colour and excellent build quality throughout, this piece is a must have item and perfect for small apartments! A timeless classic and a great investment piece!
