This mid 20th century Anglepoise 1209 trolley lamp was designed by George Cawardine for Herbert Terry & Sons, England. It has original black paint,chrome springs and a heavy cast iron base with original crinkle paint on castors. The steel shade has the original Bakelite bulb holder. The lamp is fully articulated and holds all positions as intended.This lamp has marks WSGH ....West Sussex General Hospital. This iconic lamp showcases British industrial design at its best.
