Striking 1950s Alfred Cox Teak sideboard designed for Handicraft and originally sold through Heals and hand-made to a very high specification. Every drawer is made with dovetailed joints. The sideboard features four drawers over a large concealed bottom draw with simple sculpted handles that sit on tapered splayed legs with supporting feature cross bars.
Alfred Cox's furniture is increasing in popularity because of the quality, style and its past links with Heals and other reputable furniture retailers. This design is one of their finest and rarest mid-century modern designs. It's in great condition and would make a perfect addition to a large hallway, dining or living room. It's also stamped in the drawer with the AC logo. NB; Damage to the far left handle ,only really noticeable by touching please see last image.
