Original black 1227 Anglepoise lamp

Designed in the 1930's by George Carwardine and manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons, Redditch, England between the late 1930's until the 1960’s.
This 1950’s model 1227 Anglepoise lamp looks fantastic with Its original black paint therefore not erasing its history and patina.
A really nice example with a turned tulip shade, two stepped base and adjustable springs.
Untouched original condition but with the added bonus of completely being re-wired.
A new switched lamp holder in Chrome has been added with 3 Core vintage Braided Flex and new rubber grommets.
These true British design classics are becoming very desirable and are going up in value all the time.
All lamps for use in the UK are PAT tested prior to dispatch.
