This is a very attractive piece, the lamp originated from a ship it has a gimbal action which when the boat sways from time to time the original oil lamp would remain upright. The oil lamp has been replaced with a normal electric fitting This lamp works well as a table lamp or it can be easily wall hung The lamp has new wiring.signs of wear & use commensurate with age.
