Stunning articulated floor lamp stamped 'Hadrill & Horstmann'.aluminium shade, assembly and stem aluminium counterpoised floor lamp.

Mounted on a super cool period Bouyer 

adjustable stand.

The vertical rise separates into two pieces and is detachable from the base for ease of transport. 

British company Hadrill & Horstmann was an erstwhile contemporary of the famous Herbert Terry 'Anglepoise' lamp. 

Although less well known, it is arguably better engineered and more elegant. 

The counterweight allows the head to be precisely set in any position without the need for springs innovative Hadrill & Horstmann lamps were 

leading the way with lighting solutions during the early 20th century. 

Early models evolved into what has become one of the most coveted industrial lighting designs of the 20th century, the barrel weighted 'Roller'. 

This highly sought after superb piece of British engineering. 
Excellent sympathetically restored condition

Rewired with new bayonet (B22) lamp holder with in-line switch, new black traditional braided cable and new plug.
